We celebrated Valentine's Day last night with Sushi and a Hot Stone Massage Pedicure...so nice!!!

I hope you all had a fun and Happy New Year!!!

We had a very low key NYE this year. We spent the day around the house and went to eat at Outback for dinner.

Here is Macey before dinner in her little New Year's Eve outfit!!! I thought she looked so cute!!!

It is so hard to get a picture of her sitting still these days, so most of them are action shots!!

We were home by 8:30 and asleep by 10:30. We are party animals these days!!!

Also, please keep my family in your prayers over the next few days. We recieved a phone call that my uncle was killed in a car accident last night. It was obviously very unexpected and upsetting. We will be traveling to KY sometime this week once arrangements are made. Please pray for comfort and peace for my family.

We have had a wonderful Holiday and I feel so behind with blogging and posting pictures...but I decided I wasn't going to stress about trying to write a seperate post for everything in December. Thanksgiving

We flew to Orlando for Thanksgiving! It was very quick trip. We left early, early Thursday morning and came home early Friday morning. If you ever meet my MIL you would understand why it was such a quick trip :)

This was Macey's second time flying and she did great!!!

This was Macey when we landed! She slept the whole way on every flight, except for our last one from Charlotte to Greensboro.

Sadly but these are really the only pictures I have from Thanksgiving. I am so made at myself because Macey wore a cute Turkey dress to Thanksgiving lunch and I didn't get a picture :(

A girl I work with is into photography and was sweet enough to take time out of her weekend to take pictures for us!!! She did such a great job! I love them. The fair was in town a few weeks ago and decided to tag along with my sister and her family!!!

We had a lot of fun, but it ended up being really cold that night and I didn't bring the right type of clothes.

Last Thursday I watched little Hannah for my friend Molly.

Hannah and Macey are only two weeks apart and are totally BFF's!!!

We live in the same neighborhood, so we try to get them together often.

I love this picture of them looking at each other. I wonder what they thinking or trying to say to each other. Probably something like this:

Hannah "Why does your crazy Mom have these crazy hats on our heads inside and insisting on taking our picutre?"

Macey "I'm not sure why she always insist on getting a picture with crazy stuff on my head...but she has been doing since the day I was born, so I'm just use to it."

I had them bundled up because we were going for a wagon ride and it was cold outside!

They both enjoyed the ride and talked the whole time!

Once again they are looking at me like "seriously lady stop taking pictures of us"

Las Vegas

Christian and I went to Las Vegas at the beginning of October with my sister and her husband for our anniversary!!! I was so excited about getting away but sad about leaving Macey. We left her with my parents and she did great. I'm sure I missed her way more than she missed me.

This was our favorite place to eat at...Ellis Island. It is a locals place my parents told us about and the food was so good and the prices were even better!

First of all I still can't believe my baby is one!!!

Her birthday was last Friday, but we celebrated with a party on Saturday.

I have several pictures to share, but for now here are a fewo pics from my phone.

Friday morning I had her 1 year picture appointment and then we had lunch with Christian, my sister and BIL. I also had to go to Sam's and set up for her party at my parents house.

I ordered it from a local bakery here called Delicious and that it was.

I love this picture of my two babies loving on one another!!! Macey loves her dog so much and I wish I could say the same about Buddy loving his sister. I think he really does like her, but doesn't want let us know it!!!

The past couple of weeks Macey has started calling Buddy "Bubba" and it is precious!!! She will also bark like a dog when you ask her what the doggie says. I'm trying to catch it on video!! Also, any other dog/ animal we see it is a Bubba too according to Macey!

We are still alive!!!

I have been busy these days and can't find the time to blog.

Since the last time I blogged I helped with a Bridal Shower, went to Vegas, planning Macey's 1st Birthday Party (this Saturday), and still trying to find time to enjoy Fall!!!

Anyways...here is a picture of my almost 1 year old at Party City helping me pick stuff out for her 1st Birthday party!!! I promise will try really hard not to wait a month to blog with pictures from her party!!! Those of you that are friends with me on Facebook will find I update on there more often.

We have so many Halloween shirts that I feel like I have dressed my baby in nothing but Halloween clothes this whole month!!! Good thing she looks pretty in orange!! I still can't believe she is almost one...sniff, sniff.

Macey spent the Monday afternoon with me at my office! She was a good girl and took a nap for me! She is so attached to this bear and basketball, so they both usually leave the house with us!!! I love she is attached to her stuff, but I wish it was something more girly than a basketball :) She has started giving all her stuffed animals love lately...might be the cutest thing ever!!!

Here she is having a graham cracker for a snack in my desk chair! She loves graham crackers these days, so that is what we take for a snack in the diaper bag!

Yesterday I celebrated my 27th birthday!

Christian and Macey took me shopping and we went to PF Chang's for dinner.

It was a very low key birthday, but I enjoyed my day.

My coworkers took me to eat Japanese for lunch and bought me a red velvet cake, my favorite!

Saturday night we went to dinner with my family to celebrate!!!

Being a mommy this past year has been the best gift ever!!!!

All day yesterday I kept thinking how I was about to pop and was on bed rest this time last year. This year has flown by and I can't believe we are about to celebrate her first birthday in a month..tear.

Christian also had flowers delivered to my office!!!

All in all it was a good day!!!

Things for Fall

I am so ready for Fall!!!

I have been buying so many cute fall things for Macey and I can't wait to dress her in them. The poor baby has never hurt for clothes, but we were lacking in the fall (12month) sizes. So of course I had to go shopping.

I also picked up her Halloween costume from Carter's. It was such a good deal I could not pass it up. I was trying to decide between a lady bug or pumpkin and I decided on the pumpkin. I bought a black turtle neck to go under it. I can't wait to dress her up!!!

Macey will be sporting this little Turkey dress at Thanksgiving!!! I love it!!!

These cute little baby Toms are on their way to our house. I found them in the mall on Saturday, but they did not have her size, so I ordered them online!!! They are so darn cute!!

A couple of weeks ago Christian and I both got the iphone!!! And YES I am in love with it. Although, I'm still learning how to use it. If you have any tips or anything you love and I must know about...please share :) Also, what Twitter App do you use? I can't get pictures to Twitter unless I email to Twitter.

So I thought I would share a few pictures I have taken so far.

Macey at the doctor when she was sick :( She has a little cold and the croup. So sad. My big girl weighed 19lbs!!!

Last Saturday Macey and I went to my nephews 1st football game and cheered him on!!! This was when she started feeling bad, so no smiles.

Saturday night we went to a baseball game and started to pour as soon as we got there, so I entertained myself by taking pictures. Luckily it did not rain long.

It was so nice outside one morning, so we spent the whole morning outside! So ready for Fall!

Friday night we went to dinner at this place called Hillbilly Hideaway!!! It is a little country place that brings buckets of home cooked food to your table and then they have a barn where they have live Blue Grass music. My family is from KY, so yes they like Blue Gass :)

Christian's Accent Vlog

I sweet talked Christian into doing an accent vlog too :) He is from the Orlando, FL area and I have never thought he had a Southern accent, but we are rubbing off on him.

Pillow Time

No excuses to why I haven't blogged lately except for the fact I'm just too lazy...and then this week Macey has been sick.

Anyways...I have plenty to blog about and I want to do the Accent Vlog too. Since today is my Friday and I do not come back to work until Tuesday, maybe I'll get caught up.

Macey loves to get in the middle of mine and Christian's bed and climb all over the pillows!!!

This is usually what Christian does with her while I am in the bathroom getting ready if we are going somewhere.

She laughs and has so much fun with it. I love to here her little giggles!

I think this was one night before bed. It is a good way to burn some energy!

Also, Macey FINALLY has her 1st tooth coming in!!! I thought my child would never get a tooth. I spotted it last night and was so happy. I seriously thought she was going to be walking before she got a tooth.

Lately...

I feel like Macey is becoming such a big girl lately and it just makes this Momma sad. I'm glad she is growing and healthy, but I would love for time to slow down.

I have started giving her big girl snacks twice a day. I pull her high chair in front of the TV and she watches the Disney Channel while she eats. She was really excited about snack time this day.

I put Macey in the church nursery last Sunday for the first time. She did so well and went right to them. I was kind of sad that she didn't think twice about leaving me, but happy at the same time she didn't cry!

We have bought Macey some beginner shoes! These are just some cheap ones from Target, but I've bought a pair from Stride Rite too!

The weather has been really nice in the mornings and evenings this past week, so I took my two babies for a walk!!!

A girl I work with is into photography and asked if she could come practice and take some pictures of Macey! So of course I said yes! Just like any Mom, I want as many pictures I can get of my baby!

Bath Time!

My girl loves bath time! We have recently started letting her take "big girl" baths and she loves to splash and crawl all around. I still can't believe she is already out of her baby bath tub. I kept her in it as long as I could, but she figured out how to attempt to climb out.

She loves to chew on her wash cloth!

I spiked her hair so everyone can see that my baby really does have some hair!

She has bath toys but she prefers to chew on everything but her toys!

We had another wedding to attend this past weekend.

I feel like we have had wedding after wedding this summer.

My parents watched Macey and Christian and I enjoyed a night out together. I ended up letting Macey spend the night at my parents. It was her first time overnight somewhere. I'm pretty sure I had a harder time with it than she did.

I feel like Macey is changing everyday and getting so big girl like!

She is constantly talking about something, pulling herself up on everything, eating some table foods, and she has such a personality.

This was taken on July 21st when she turned 9 months. I can't believe my baby is already 9 months. This has been the hardest month so far for me. It made me think how we will be planning a first 1st Birthday party in just a few months.

We had her 9 month appointment on Monday and we have a perfectly healthy baby girl!!!

Macey:

-You weigh 18lbs

-You are 27 inches

-You started saying Dada tonight

-You are constantly talking

-You still do not like your crib

-Size 2 diapers but almost in size 3

-You wear 6-9 month clothes and a few 12 months

Fruit Pizza!!!

I made a Fruit Pizza last weekend for a cook out and it was so good!!!

Bake a sugar cookie roll as directed (I made small circles and stuck them together to make a circle)

Mix 8oz cream cheese, 3/4 cups sugar, 1 tsp vanilla together (I used a blender) and spread over cookie once cooled.

Top with your favorite fruit!!!

Super easy and super good!

A Baby Shower

One of my friends from High School, well actually Elementary and Middle also is expecting her first baby...Isla Elizabeth Claire. Macey and I went to her baby shower and it was so good to see Meredith. She lives in California, so I only see her once or twice a year.

Macey decided she wanted to help open the presents!

Seeing if there is anything in there she might want...HA!

You can't even tell Meredith is 6 months pregnant!

Zoo Day

We decided to take Macey to the NC Zoo a couple of Friday's ago.

I didn't really take that many pictures, but here are a few that we got.

I loved being able to see the elephants so close!!! The NC Zoo is really big, so sometimes it is hard to see the animals if they are too far out.

-I signed up with Weight Watchers last Thursday and I've been trying hard to be good and count my points!

-We bought hardwood floors for our house and I can't wait for Christain to install them. Saying I'm excited would be an understatement.

-We are also putting a back splash up in our kitchen.

-I can't get over the fact Macey will be 9 months this Thursday.

We had a nice week long vacation at the beach, but it is nice to be back hom!!!

Here is my little Movie Star before the beach one morning!

Every time we put the sunglasses on her she would sit still and "pose"!

Her and her Daddy napping one afternoon!!

This is where Macey took a lot of naps at on the beach!!! I would put the beach blanket and towel on a lounge chair and she would sleep so good there. Makes me think we need a sound machine.

She loved the sand and water. She had no fear of any of it. She would crawl all around and straight to the ocean. She loved it when the waves would hit us.

My girl on the fourth and she looks like such a big girl here...sniff, sniff.

We sat out on the beach to watch the fireworks and she loved them. She didn't cry one time!

This was Macey's first trip week long trip away from home and she did wonderful!!!

This past month it seems like Macey has started to act so "big girlish".

They are so cute together and they are getting so fun to watch them play together now that they are getting bigger!

One Tree Hill

This past weekend while were in Wilmington, I begged Christian to drive around and find a few of the One Tree Hill filming spots on our way out of town.

Here is Lucas' house! I was so excited.

We also found club Tric that used to be on the show!

It looked just like the show and even had stained glass upstairs like in the show!

Weekend in Wilmington!!!

We went to Wilmington this weekend to visit one of my best friends Amanda and her family!!!!

They just recently welcomed a sweet baby girl into their family and I was dying to get my hands on her. But I'm such a bad friend and didn't even take one picture of sweet Emma!

Saturday we spent the day at the beach and this was Macey's first time on the actual beach!!!

She seemed to enjoy it and had fun trying to eat the sand!

Saturday evening we went to dinner in downtown on the river.

I love downtown Wilmington, I think it is so cute!

My sweet baby girl is 8 months today!!!

I am having such a hard time getting over the fact that she is growing so fast.

I have asked Christian so many times lately where did our little newborn go that we just had?

She is getting so fun and has such a little personality these days!!!

Her and Buddy are starting to be friends. She will chase him around the living room and take his toys from him. We are constantly having to tell her "No ma'am, we do not chew on dog toys"...lol.

I usually do not do a monthly recap but I thought I would today.

A few weeks ago I had to go to Indianapolis for work and I took Macey with me! My Uncle and Aunt live there, so they kept her for me while I worked.

I was a little nervous about taking Macey on a plane for her first time by myself, but she did great!

She was the happiest baby and did not a make a sound on any of the flights! The airline was nice enough to give me a full row to myself, but she sat on my lap most of the time!

This was on our flight back home and my poor baby was sick. She had a fever of 104.4 when we got home. Scared me to death, but luckily it dropped quickly. You can tell she didn't feel well in this picture below.

She did so well flying and it was pretty easy that we are considering flying to Florida this summer to visit Christian's family!

It beats a 10 hour car drive!

Pool Time

We decided to join our neighborhood pool this year thinking it would be fun to take Macey!

The girl loves the water!

She is so good at the pool and even takes naps in her stroller!

I will sit with her on the steps and she will watch all the kids play and splash the water and LOVES it!

We go in the evening a lot when Christian gets home from work and it is so nice!

She is getting brave on me and has been trying to dip her face in the water while she is her float.

We have been working with Macey and trying to get her to wave bye, bye!!!

And most of the time this is what she does...looks at me like I'm crazy!!

And laughs at me, but the past couple of days she has started to try and bend her fingers to do it!!!

Now that Macey has started crawling she is BUSY!!!

She is into everything and her favorite is to get into Buddy's toys, food and water bowl, or climb on Buddy!

I tell her "No ma'am" and she stops and smiles at me...

...Then gives me these cute little faces and I can't help but to laugh...

...and she continues to get into the toys...

...look at this face...

All I can do is laugh!?! I know we are in trouble!

And like I said she loves Buddy's food and water bowl!

Crawling!!!

Somehow my sweet little baby has figured out how to crawl...not sure how this has happened b/c I'm still in denial that she is already 7 months old!

A couple of weeks ago she started getting on all fours rocking back and forth and a few days later....she just took off!

I love this sweet little face that she does!

She is so busy these days crawling every where and chasing poor Buddy!

This past weekend she started pulling herself up on things around the house and stands up holding on! I've tried getting a picture but everytime I get the camera out she sits down.

One other cute thing she does now is throws her hands up in the air and yells really loud when we say "Yay"!!!

I can't believe how big she is getting!

Wedding Season

We have had so many weddings to attend here lately! This past Saturday one of Christian's friends got married here in town, so my parents kept Macey and we went to the wedding! I didn't get any pictures of the bride and groom. How horrible am I!?!

My parents keep Macey for me while we are at work, but never at night or on the weekends. We always have Macey with us, so it was kinda weird not having Macey around. I was glad to get home to my sweet baby!

We did not do much on Mother's Day and spent the day relaxing.

Weekend in Charleston

We spent the weekend in Charleston a couple of weeks ago and had so much fun! Some friends were getting married, so we decided to make a weekend out of it. We did site seeing on Saturday, but our camera battery was dead that day.

We spent some time at the marina and the pool on Sunday.

We bought Macey this little sailor outfit back in December and decided it was time to take some pictures of her in it!

She was not in a very picture taken mood this day! I can't blame her it was hot and humid!

The wedding was Sunday night and she was the best baby during the ceremony and reception!

Macey did great on the ride there and back!

We were very thankful for such a happy baby on this trip.

Also, a note for myself...Macey has started pretty much crawling this past week. She gets on all fours and gets to where she wants to go! I have a feeling I am about to be really busy chasing her around.

Wow...it has been so long since I've blogged! We've been super busy this past month and I have not had a chance to blog. We were out of town a couple weekends in Charleston and then Macey and I were gone last week to to Indianapolis! I do not think we have a free weekend again until we go on vacation in July :(

I started working part time this past month and it has been wonderful to have some extra time with these two!

I've put Macey in her wagon a few times that Santa brought her at Christmas and she loves it!!!

I think this is my new favorite picture of Macey! I'm thinking about ordering it on a canvas. Any suggestions on who to order from?

I have so many pictures to update with if I ever find the time! I do not go back to work until next Wednesday, so I'm hoping to get caught up on everything by then!

It's Spring Time!

We have been taking advantage of the warmer weather!

I'm so excited these days to get outside with Macey!

I've been taking her bumbo outside and letting her play! I love the face she is making in this picture!

This was from this past weekend and she was so serious while her Daddy took her picture!

She is in love with Buddy!

She grabs for all the time and will practically jump out of our arms to get to him.

She has also learned how to roll across the living room to him. Of course, he jumps up as soon as she gets close!

We still working on getting him to love her back. He is tad bit jealous of his little sister.

I hope one day he loves her as much as she loves him!

This precious baby girl couldn't be any more perfect to me!

Life is just perfect with her in it! I love her big blue eyes and her little personality!

I can't believe my sweet girl turned 6 months last Thursday! She weighed 15lbs at the doctor and was 25 inches long. She is sitting up now and rolls all over the place! She has started sleeping without being swaddled this past week. Buddy and my cell phone are her favorite toys right now...lol! She has started having some juice and water and has moved to 2nd stage baby food. She wears 3-6 months or 6 months and is still in 1-2 diapers.

My sweet girl is growing up way too fast.

We had a good time celebrating Macey's first Easter! We went to church with my family and then to my sisters house for Easter lunch! I didn't really take many pictures but here are a few!

I've started putting Macey in little gowns here lately at night and oh my she is just precious in them! I really didn't use them that much when she was first born. They were huge on her and I liked the zip up sleepers. Now that she is getting bigger I love the little gowns!

I love how her sweet little feet stick out the bottom! She really just melts my heart!

She is getting so big and fun! She has started sitting up a little bit on her own. Sometimes straight up and sometimes she leans all the way over until she falls on her belly!

I also had to share this picture of her sleeping. We had her sitting up on the couch and when we looked over at her she was asleep! It was so cute to see her sitting there dozing off! She must have had a busy day.

Baby Shower

My friend Amanda is expecting her second baby, Emma Marie in May and this past weekend we went to her shower! They live about 3 hours away in Wilmington, so it was nice to see her and her family for a couple of hours.

She has a little boy that is a 1 1/2 and we always joke that Macey and Walker will get married one day. So we had to take their picture of her sitting on this lap. We said we will display this at their reception...lol! Christian about had a heart attack when we brought up his baby girl dating and getting married. He said it will be a good 30 years before she is allowed to do either...HA!

Here is Amanda and I with our sweet babies and Emma in the belly! We have been friends since the 6th grade and I love that we get to share baby stories together!

Hard at Work

I brought Macey to work with me today and I have loved having her here with me!

She has been so good and fun!

I really wouldn't mind working, if I could bring her everyday or atleast most of the time.

She has been a busy little girl! She sent out a lot of emails for me!

She is now working on her 2nd nap for today!

Macey is excited that Kentucky won the game last night and they get to play Carolina tomorrow! I'm not a big sports fan, but if I pull for a team it is KY.

I'm excited that the Wildcats get to play the TarHeels tomorrow!

We are hoping they win, so we can rub it in down here in NC.

Macey has another cute KY shirt to wear tomorrow also! I wish we had a big blue and white bow, but we don't. I have a light blue bow, but I refuse to put the color blue on her right now. I don't like the TarHeels. If I pull for a team here it is NC State or Wake Forest!

And if you all are wondering why I like KY, if I live in NC...it is b/c I'm orginally from there and that is what I grew up with my family pulling for.

Oh and this is a first but Macey slept til 10:24 this morning. That has never happened. I kept checking on her to make sure she was alright and everytime she looked so peaceful, so I let her sleep!

1st time at the park!

A couple of Saturday's ago the weather was beautiful and I wanted to get out of the house, so we took Macey to the park! I know she is still kind of small and young for the park, but she loved the baby swing!

She was so cute and smiled the whole time!

She actually cried when I put her back in her carseat. I told Christian if she gets this mad now leaving the park, I can only imagine what she will be like in a few years...HA!

And can someone please tell me when and how my baby got to be so baby like, instead of newborn like!?! I still can't believe how big she is getting and how much she is changing! I love all the fun we are having with her, but I need time to slow down just a bit!

I'm so happy today is Friday!

I came to work late today and I have Macey at my office with me, so it is a good day! It is amazing how much better work is when I have her with me!

Train Station

This past Saturday Christian' mom came in town from Florida by train, so we had to go to the train station to pick her up. While waiting on the train to arrive we took full advantage of getting some precious pictures of our girl!

She is starting to get such a little personality and I love it!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We took these pictures a few days ago with her little green bip on b/c I wasn't sure if we would get the time today.

She is getting so big and she has such a little personality these days!

It is so hard for me to believe that she will be 5 months old on Monday..gasp!

She is just so sweet and my heart hurts I love her so much!!!

We are hosting playgroup at our house tonight for us momma's that have to work during the day! I'm excited to see Macey play with her friends tonight!

On another note we have now transitioned Macey into her crib. We have used the bassinet the whole time and it has worked out great, but she is getting too long for it. She has slept in her crib every night since Saturday, but has had me up a lot this week. I believe it is teething related more than sleeping in her crib related. I'm pretty sure we will see a tooth soon!

Christian has been out of town all week for work and I'm exhausted. You don't realize how much you need the extra help, until you don't have it. It is hard doing everything on your own, I give props to those single moms out there! Needless to say we will be excited to have Christian back home tonight!

Catch Up and Pictures Post

I had every intention to start blogging again last week but then we received a phone call that my Grandfather passed away last Thursday morning and had to head to Kentucky. So here is my attempt to get better at it. I really just don't want to take the time away from Macey when I get home in the evenings to blog, so I'm going to try to do it at work more often.

A few weeks ago we started Macey on rice cereal. She was so funny the first time we gave it to her and had no clue what to do with the spoon. This was the first attempt and it was every where, but I love the cute picture we got out of it!

She has figured out what the spoon is now and gets so excited! We had Macey's 4 month check up on Tuesday and the Dr. gave us the go ahead to start babyfood! She has done well with it. So far she has had sweet potatos and carrots. I'm adding this in here for my reference she weighed 12lbs 8 oz and was 24" long! She is a healthy and growing girl!

We went to dinner a few weekends ago for my Dad's birthday and she was the star of the night. We had her dressed up so cute! Here she is once we got home and oh my goodness look how big she looks! She would not smile for anything!

Christian was helping me with Macey and the laundry one night and he decided to let Macey help too!

I love my sweet girl! I think this was before church one Sunday morning! I love this little dress on her!

I love this sweet smile! She was in such a good mood this night and was giving us all sorts of smiles for the camera!

And last but not least...one of my favorite pictures of my kids!

Buddy is still adjusting to his little sister. He doesn't really have much to do with her, well do be honest he has nothing to do with her. We have to make him come close to her. But this night we put her in her bumbo and he came to lay beside her. We are making progess, but look at the faces they are giving each other!

A few weeks ago we went out to my sister's house on one of our snow days, so the boys could play and us girls watched a movie! While we were there Macey decided to have a major blowout and we had to give Macey a bath in the kitchen sink!

Macey was so relaxed and laid back in the bath we had to take a picture! She would not crack a smile for anything, but it was so funny b/c she said sat there "chillen"...HA!

Macey really loves bath time! Sometimes I put her in the shower with me when we are in a hurry and she LOVES IT!!! I've also put her in the bath tub with me, but most of the time she gets a bath in her whale bath tub!

New Year's Eve!

I think after this post I should be caught up on the Holidays and can start blogging about our daily stuff again. We went to a friends house with our neighbors this year to celebrate the new year! It was so fun to be able to have our sweet girl with us. We were proud that we made it til midnight, we left right after the ball dropped!

I realize I'm so behind on doing our Christmas post, but I still want to so I can remember Macey's 1st Christmas. This year was extra special because it was Macey's 1st Christmas and it was also a white one!!! I love that Macey's 1st snow was on Christmas too. I took her out for second to get a picture and she did not care for it one bit. I think because the snowflakes were hitting her in the face.

Macey on her 1st Christmas morning! Santa brought a wagon, a toy, and a Dora video.

Before Macey was born her Daddy bought her a mini Vera Bradely and we gave it to her at Christmas!

Santa also brought Buddy a stocking full of toys. He was seriously like a little kid and was so excited!

I decided I wanted to start getting Macey sock monkey ornaments, so my parents got her this green one and she loves it! She smiles at it everytime I hold it up.

My Grandparents came down from Kentucky for Christmas and here is my Grandma with some of Grandaughters and Great Grandson's and daughter.

Here is Macey with a big Christmas bow on her head! She is the best gift I could ever receive! This Christmas will always be extra special becuase we had our sweet girl with us.

I'm a little behind but I wanted to do a little 2010 recap!

January - Got pregnant (we didn't know it yet)

February - Had lots of snow!

March 1st - found out we were pregnant!!!

April - My sister and I went to ATL for Beth Moore!

May - Celebrated Christian's birthday and went to Texas for work

June 1st - Found out we were having a girl and felt Macey move for the first time on the same day!!!

July - Went to the beach for my best friend's wedding! Also, had a little scare and had to go the ER.

August - Started to feel really preggo and hiding out from the heat!

September - Had my baby shower's, celebrated my birthday, and was put on bed rest

October 21st - Our sweet girl arrived!

November - Got used to being a family of 3 and celebrated Macey's first Thanksgiving!

December - Enjoyed every second of being at home with my girl!

2010 was by far the best year of my life and wouldn't change it for anything!

Back to Work

Today is the day that I have dreaded since I found out I was pregnant...going back to work. I've know from the beginning that I just can't stay home right now, but I just wasn't ready to leave my sweet girl yet. I have cried about it, argued about it, prayed about it and I know I will find peace sooner or later with it. I still want to be the one to feed all day, put down for naps, be there when she wakes up, hold her when she cries, watch cartoons with her... I'm very lucky that my parents are able to keep her, so I know she is in good hands.

But I'm still missing her like crazy today!

Double Ear Infection

Today was Macey's 2 month check up and unfortunately she has a double ear infection. I knew she wasn't feeling well yesterday, but didn't think it was an ear infection. I feel so sorry for poor baby, but she is on an antibiotic and hopefully she will be feeling well soon. She is already acting like she feels better, as I type this she is lauging and playing on her little mat.

Christian is off from now until the new year, so we are looking forward to spending some quality time together with our sweet girl!!!

I feel so blessed to be able to call this sweet baby my daughter!

2 Months!!!

Macey you are 2 months old today!

Time is flying and I can't believe my sweet baby is already 2 months.

You have been such a blessing to your Daddy and me. I can't imagine life without you now.

You have really started to show your little personality this month.

Macey and I are spending the day at home again.

She woke up early this morning real congested and coughing and she didn't sleep well last night. I'm praying that she isn't getting sick and that this will pass.

Christian and I tried a new church yesterday and it was Macey's first time going to church! She did so good and slept the whole time. Of course we had to get some pictures of Macey's first time going to church and I loved her little dress she had on.

I've been having issues with blogger and I have not been able to upload any pictures, which is why I haven't blogged. I have tried everyday...but today it worked!!!

We took Macey to see Santa this past week and I was so excited. I know she is too little to know the difference, but I didn't want to regret not taking her on her first Christmas.

You can tell by this picture of what she thought of him. I think this is one of my favorites...LOL!!!

Here is our second attempt and it went a little better, but she still has an unsure look on her face.

I thought she would be too little cry with him, but she would stop crying every time we pick up.

2010 Christmas Card

I feel so behind this year with our Christmas cards, but I finally put them all in the mail today!!! I was so excited to send them out this year with our family of three as the picture! I made my Christmas cards this year with Shutterfly and I love how they turned out. I'm already working on a photo book from Shutterfly and I just ordered a Christmas gift last night from them. I feel bad we didn't have Buddy on the card this year, but I didn't have the time to get one with him.
