Twitter!

I don't really have much to blog about tonight. After work I went with my best friend to look at her wedding dress and then came home and ate dinner. Now I am on the couch watching my DVR'd shows, trying to catch up!

I am super excited that tomorrow is Friday and they are calling for snow tonight! It is suppose to be really cold this weekend, so we will probably hang out around the house. I am trying to talk Christian into going to Wilmington to see my friend Amand and her husband, who just had a sweet baby boy 3 weeks ago!

As you probably have heard me mention before I love Jessica Simpson and I also love her hair and would love to have it! I also would not mind having her body and hair stylist either!

I love her long hair!

And I love it when she has it pulled up too!

Dieting Is No Fun

One of my New Year's resolutions was to start going back to the gym and eating better and to lose weight. Man oh man is it hard for me to diet, especially at my office! This morning someone brought us Panera Bagels and of course it was my favorite, Cinnamon Crunch, but I was good and controlled myself! I was watching everyone eat a yummy bagel while I ate my granola bar. For lunch I had 1 can of tuna with nothing but hot sauce and relish, but this wasn't too hard b/c I love tuna. Then this afternoon we had birthday cake at work for one of our salemen and it had to have my favorite icing, but once again I controlled myself. After work today I went to the gym and worked out! I am so out of shape but I am working on it. I wish it wasn't freezing outside, so I could take Buddy walking! Christian and I went grocery shopping since we haven't been in forever and our pantry was starting to look bare! We got all healthy food, so hopefully it will start being a little easier. Tonight I had a salad with no dressing for dinner, the only reason I didn't have dressing was b/c I didn't like what the restaurant had. So needless to say I am very proud of myself today! I am determined to lose some weight and soon! I feel bad for Christian b/c I have been a little on the grumpy side but I have been starving and wanting to give in all day! What kind of diet tips do you have?

I have really been craving one of these today..HA!!!!!! I'm heading to bed now to dream about this!

The Bachelor

Thank goodness Monday is over! It is always so hard to make after long weekend but I made it..HA!! Today has been just a normal day, nothing too exciting. After work Christian and I went to the gym and I've attempted to eat healthy, in order to try and achieve my new year's resolution. I will be posting weekly on here to help myself keep track of how I am doing. It has been freezing here lately so I am cuddled up on the couch watching the The Bachelor!

I am so excited about this season, I always love this show. I think that Jake seems to be such a great guy, I remember liking him from the Bachelorette last year! Well the commercial is over so I am going to watch!  Do any of y'all like this show?

A New Year's Day Wedding & Our Sunday

On Friday we attended one of my co-workers wedding! They have been engaged for over a year and finally tied the knot on New Year's Day! They had such a beautiful evening wedding and we had good time with my co-workers at the wedding!

Here are Cindy and I with Phil the Vice President of the company! I feel so lucky to have such a good group of people to work with. We all get along and have a good time together!

This is the only picture I got of the Bride and Groom and it isn't really that good. I didn't want to take any durring the ceremony and then during the reception I was too busy talking, eating, and dancing!

Today we have done a bunch of nothing! We slept in this morning and skipped church, I know thats bad. Today is my aunts birthday so we all went out to lunch.

I think we both look tired in this picture! And don't you just love my bright pink Happy New Year shirt!?!? I meant to get a picture with my aunt but there were so many people there I didn't get a chance. Now I've been laying on the couch watching TV and I think a nap is in the near future!

New Year's Resolutions & Today

I realize I am a day behind with my New Year's Resolutions but I guess it better late than never!

1) I know this is on everyone's list...Losing Weight! Starting tomorrow or Monday I am going to start back to the gym. I want to lose around 15-20 pounds by summer. I'm not going to follow a strict diet b/c they do NOT work for me b/c I love food way too much but I am going to try and cut back and watch what I eat.

2) I want to work on being a better wife not that I think I am a bad wife, but you can always be better! I want to make it a point to do special things for my husband and to make him smile. I want to have more him and I time with no TV, computers and so on...just quality time together! I have a wonderful husband and I want to make sure a day doesn't go by that I don't let him know I am aware of how blessed I am to have him!

3) We have recently found a church we both really like and I want to get more involved with the church! I want to grow in my relationship with GOD. I want to make sure I put God first, then others, and then myself. I want to strive to let God lead my marriage, my relationships, my life and not second guess him.

4) Pay off debt!!!!! We have worked really hard at getting out of debt and we have one more credit card and we will be debt free besides our house and one of our cars! I am in hurry to get it paid off b/c then we can start having babies! That was our goal before we have kids to get out of debt!

Here are some of my New Year's Resolutions! I don't think any of them are that unrealistic! The first one I will have to work hard for it but will be worth it. The 2nd and 3rd I should do this every day no matter what! The 4th one is already in progress!!!!

Christian and I have had a wonderful day together! We went to the mall this morning so I could return a dress and check out Victoria Secrets Semi-Annual sale! Then we had lunch together at Chipolte and headed home. My parents came by to vist for a few minutes and we all ran to Target together. Christian and I went to Chili's for dinner and I had the Quesadilla Explosion Salad (yum)!!!! I've been cleaning up around the house tonight, while Christian works out in the garage. I thought I would share a picture of Buddy and his new treat! Christians Dad and family brought him this huge treat! IHe would not take his eyes off of it and wanted it so bad. I had to take it away from him b/c he kept trying to eat the whole thing instead of chew on it. We will try another day!

Recap of 2009

Happy New Year to you all! I hope 2010 brings wonderful things to you and your family! 2009 was a great year for me and I can't wait to see what 2010 will bring!

I thought I would do a recap of this past year!

In January I went to the Rascal Flatt and Jessica Simpson concert. I like Rascal Flatts but I really went for Jessica Simpson. Yes I like her and everyone who knows me knows how much I adore her! We had great seats and were so close!

In February Christian finished our salt water tank! This is Christian's baby but he very proud of it and I am proud of him! He built the stand and everything! (as I am doing this he is telling me there are better pictures but this is all I have on this computer) I will share more another day.

Christian and I got engaged in March! This isn't a picture of when we got engaged, but it is from March at my nephews birthday party!

April  we celebrated Easter at my sisters house with my family!

In May we bought our first boat!

Then in June we traded in Christian's truck and got our 4-Runner, which I love!

In July we spent almost every weekend at the lake on the boat!

August we went on vacation with my family and went to Disney!

September I celebrated my 25th birthday!

October we were married! The best month out of the whole year!

In November we went to Indianapolis and Chicago! Such a fun trip!

We celebrated our first Christmas as a married couple in December!

God was very good to us this year and we are blessed!
