I Heart Weekends!

I just realized I haven't posted since last Wednesday! Ooops, but I've been a little busy! We had a wonderful weekend and sad it is over but at least Monday is pretty much over too! Last Thursday I hosted a Premier Jewelry Party last Thursday and had about 12 girls over! It was a lot of fun to eat, talk, and shop! Friday night Christian enjoyed the night together we went shopping and to dinner! I bought a humidifier for our bedroom b/c I wake up every morning really stuffy, but I don't feel like it made much of a difference. Do you guys use one? If so, what kind? Saturday Christian had to go into work for a while so I cleaned the house and then went with my friend Mimi to get a pedicure! Oh my it was so relaxing, I haven't had one since October at my wedding.  I ran by this New York and Company that is going out of business and I racked up! Everything in the whole store was $3.99! Christian and I went to out to dinner for Mexican and then we went back to NY&Co. b/c we just couldn't get over all the deals. I got so many sweaters, work pants, shirts, and sweater dresses! I think I only spent $60 or so! Sunday was a very relaxing day for me! We went to breakfast with some friends and I came home and napped all day! We went to dinner with our friends Matt and Laura at this little Irish place and the Sheppards Pie was delicious!!!! So there is our weekend re-cap! I am so ashamed of myself b/c I didn't take one picture this whole weekend...I'll have to do better next! I am so excited to watch the Bachelor tonight, even though I've read that spoiler website. Anyways, I hope you all had a great weekend!

Guest Bathroom

Christian and I finally finished painting the guest bathroom last night and tongiht we put everything back. I wish I would have thought of taking before and after pictures, but I only have after...Sorry!

I am standing in the hallway taking this picture, we painted the bathroom a tan color to match my shower curtain that I adore!

The color is a little darker than it looks on here and I don't really like the picture above the toilet. Do you guys have any suggestions what would look good?

American Idol

Tonight Christian and I (mostly Christian) have been working on painting our guest bathroom and also watching American Idol of course! I always love watching the try outs and we always laugh so hard, we are DVRing it, so we can watch all of it tomorrow! Do you guys watch AI? I am so sad that Simon is leaving next season, I just heart him! The show will not be the same without him...

Meeting Walker

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a Happy Monday! Thank goodness Monday is over, I am not a fan of them. Christian and I had a great weekend! We got to go to Wilmington this weekend to visit my friend Amanda and meet her new baby boy Walker!

Walker is such a sweet baby and I couldn't get enough of him! I just loved holding him and loving on him! We went out to dinner Saturday night and we were there for a good while and he didn't make one peep at all!

Sunday we just hung around their house and visited with them! Here is Amanda and I and yes I look so short without my heels on..HA!! I wish they lived closer to us. Amanda and I have been friends since 6th grade but they moved to Wilmington (3hrs away) about four years ago.

Here I am with the sweet baby! I really think I  held him from the moment I walked in the door until I left! I was so sad to leave him yesterday.

Here is Amanda and I with our husband's, Christian and Adam! The guys are in their coats b/c we were about to walk out the door to lunch. We had such a good time hanging out with them!

I have to leave you with this sweet little face...is he not just the cutest!?!?! And yes being around this sweet baby all weekend has definitely given me the "fever"!!!!!

Waiting

So I wanted to go to Wilmington today, which is about 3 hours away. I wanted to go see my friend Amanda and her husband and new baby! Of course, Christian had to work this Saturday :( Christian called me at 11:45 and said he would be leaving within the hour, well it is now 1:35 and he still at work. I have got everything together and ready to go and now just waiting for him. Now I am trying to decided whether we should even go and if it will worth our time, since we have to come back home tomorrow. I can't stand waiting when I have something I want to do. I should probably work on being more patient, but seriously it's Saturday he should be home not at work! I hope you all have a great Saturday!

Show Us How You Live - New Year's Resolutions/ Goals

I am so excited to start the "Show Us How You Live 2010"!!! I look forward to every Friday to see what all y'all have to share!

I have already done a post about this at the beginning of the month, so some of you might have already read them!

Here are my main 4 resolutions:

1) I know this is on everyone's list...Losing Weight! Starting tomorrow or Monday I am going to start back to the gym. I want to lose around 15-20 pounds by summer. I'm not going to follow a strict diet b/c they do NOT work for me b/c I love food way too much but I am going to try and cut back and watch what I eat.

2) I want to work on being a better wife not that I think I am a bad wife, but you can always be better! I want to make it a point to do special things for my husband and to make him smile. I want to have more him and I time with no TV, computers and so on...just quality time together! I have a wonderful husband and I want to make sure a day doesn't go by that I don't let him know I am aware of how blessed I am to have him!

3) We have recently found a church we both really like and I want to get more involved with the church! I want to grow in my relationship with GOD. I want to make sure I put God first, then others, and then myself. I want to strive to let God lead my marriage, my relationships, my life and not second guess him. All in all, I want to be a better Christian!

4) Pay off debt!!!!! We have worked really hard at getting out of debt and we have one more credit card and we will be debt free besides our house and one of our cars! I am in hurry to get it paid off b/c then we can start having babies! That was our goal before we have kids to get out of debt!

Here are some of my New Year's Resolutions! I don't think any of them are that unrealistic! The first one I will have to work hard for it but will be worth it. The 2nd and 3rd I should do this every day no matter what! The 4th one is already in progress!!!!
