So Behind...and Happy Anniversary

I feel so behind this year with Christmas.  I am usually decorated before Thanksgiving for Christmas, but I still have my fall decorations out.  I was planning on putting the outside decor up tonight but it is pouring down rain.  I was also planning on getting everything out of the attic and decorate the inside tomorrow night...and I didn't get any of that done.  I will probably wait until the weekend now.  We will more than likely get our tree this weekend and decorate all at once. Speaking of being behind...I usually have some of my Christmas shopping done too,  but I have not bought one gift.  Christian and I decided we were only going to stockings this year for each other, so that makes life easier.  All the girls switch ornaments with each other in my family.  My sister and I are going in together and getting my parents their gift.  I also buy for my nephews and other than that we don't really do gifts with other family members. I plan on getting it all knocked out within the next week or so and then enjoy the season.  Tonight we go to Target to get Christmas gifts for the three kids we are buying for from church.  I enjoyed it and it was a lot of picking gifts out for the kids. It makes me feel so good to know we are helping kids have a good Christmas!

Today is my parents 37th Wedding Anniversary! I hope I have a wonderful marriage like they have.  They are so loving and are wonderful parents! It is unheard of these days to hear of marriages lasting, so I am so proud to say my parents are still married!

Christmas Cards!

I picked up our Christmas cards today and I love them! They are so cute and I can't wait to send them out. I am probably going to start addressing them tonight and get them out this week. I love receiving Christmas cards in the mail the whole month of December, I can't wait to check the mail in the evenings when I get home.

We wanted to do a wedding picture for our card this year since we recently got married.  The only thing I would change is to have Buddy looking at the camera, but that never happens.  I used Walgreen's for our cards and I am pleased with how well they turned out for the price. They were only $18.00 with my coupon! Who do you guys use for your cards?

Indianapolis & Chicago!

If you have read my blog lately you know we went out of town for the Holiday.  We had such a good trip and I wish I was still there.  We left last Wednesday for Indianapolis, spent Thanksgiving at my Uncles House, Friday we went to Chicago, Saturday we hung out in Indianapolis and shopped, Sunday we came home. 

There are so many pictures I want to share, but I can't put them all on here, so here are a few of my favorite!

I hope you all are having a great Monday back to work. It is always so hard for me to go back to work after a holiday or vacation! I will post later about our trip to Indianapolis and Chicago!

Home Sweet Home!

I just realized I haven't blogged since last Monday.  Last week was a busy week for us trying to get ready for our trip and all. We left last Wednesday for Indianapolis for Thanksgiving and just got home tonight. We had such a great time and we were sad to leave my family but it is always good to be back home.  I have so many pictures to share from Indy and Chicago, but I am exhausted tonight and we will have to post pictures tomorrow night.  I am so happy though because as soon as we got home Christian helped me unpack and do all the laundry, so tomorrow I can come home from work and relax.  I feel like I might be getting a cold or something. My nose will not stop running, can't breath, my ears hurt, and I'm just tired. We also got up at 4 in the morning to come home this morning which could be a big part of my problem. I DO NOT do mornings very well, especially before day light.  We took this little boy here with us too and he had such a good time and was so good, but I think he is exhausted too because we hasn't moved from his bed since we got home around 4 this afternoon.
