A Little of Everything

I promise I have nursery ideas coming and recent pictures of my belly,  but they are all on our new camera and I have no clue how to get the pictures off of it. Anways...I wanted to share my 15 week belly picture with y'all! I am now 18 weeks and have current pictures, but I only have this one on my little camera.

Please ignore the flash. I took this picture in my hotel room while I was in El Paso for work. You can still see my belly poking out! I feel like it is starting to poke out more and more each week! I love it! Christian took me shopping last week for maternity clothes and he was such a huge help! Christian is really good at shopping and helps me out. I stood in the dressing room and he brought me clothes! I got mostly capris and shorts, but I wanted to share my favorite shirt.

I think this is just too cute and will look cute to wear this summer! I'm also looking for a cute maternity bathing suit, do you guys have any suggestions?

Christian's Dad and his family sent me my first Mother's Day gift at the beginning of this month. I know it is a little late, but I'm also using this blog for my memories and I want to remember my first Mother's Day gift!

It was an edible arrangements basket and had so much fruit we could hardly eat it all! I was excited to come home to a package! I also received a lot Mother's Day cards and they were all so sweet!

This past Saturday I hosted my friend Sarah's bridal shower. She is getting married July 3rd on the beach in Wilmington, NC. I only took one picture during the shower.

I thought the shower went very well and I was exhausted by the time it was over! I never realized how much energy pregnancy can take out of you!

One week from tomorrow we find out if we are having a sweet baby boy or sweet baby girl!!! I am so excited,  I can hardly stand it to wait! I've been wanting to call to see if I could get in at the end of the week sometime!

Baby Names

First of all I know I have been a horrible blogger. I promise to get better at it but sometimes there isn't enough time in the day. I posted on Twitter earlier that I was going to share belly pics, nursery ideas, and baby names. Well it is only going to be baby names tonight. We got a new camera and it has the pictures on it and I have no clue how to get them on the computer. I have to wait for Christian to do tomorrow hopefully!

We find out in less than 2 weeks if we are having a BOY or GIRL!!!! We are so excited and can't wait to find out! We've been discussing names a lot lately but we have not decided on a name for sure.

Boy Names:

Christian Mason (we will call him Mason)

Conner Steven (middle name is from Christian's dad)

Carson Ray (middle name is from my dad)

Girl Names:

Emma Kate

Macey Marie (middle name is my middle name)

Gracie Lynn (middle name is my sisters name)

Lainey Marie

We are having such a hard time deciding, but I'm sure when we find out it will much easier.

Sweet Face!

OH how I love this sweet face! He can make any bad day, a good day!

He loves his family and toys unconditionally! Especially his momma!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!

A couple of weeks ago my boss gave me 4 tickets to a local base ball game. My company bought VIP box seat tickets and they are trying to make sure everyone gets to go to a game or two. Christian and I took my two nephews with us. It was such a fun night! We got park in VIP Parking, we got to ride up in the special elevator to the box seats, and the founders club. They had a huge buffet set up with all the food you can eat. There was so much food: a carving station with prime rib and ham, mashed potatos, greenbeans, fish, rice, hot dogs, chicken tenders, rolls, dessert, and so much more. This pregnant girl was in heaven! It was also unlimited fountian drinks too!

14 Week

14 Week Belly Picture

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 14 Weeks

Size of baby:  3 1/4-4 inches long and weighs 1 ounce and is the size of a lemon!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 3 1/2 lbs as of last my last doctors appointment. I go back next Tuesday and will know then.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet but it will probably be any day. I've been wearing my bella band. I feel like my belly as popped out so much! I have bought a few shirts in a larger size than normal, but maternity clothes still seem big.

Gender: We find out June 1st!!!!! Everyone believe it will be a girl. I have not had one person say boy. We shall see!

Movement: Not yet, but I can't wait! I hear I should start feeling flutters soon!

Food Cravings: Mash Potatos and Corn on the Cob

What I miss: Nothing really except for my sleep and feeling good

Sleep: I have been sleeping a little better. I have been exhausted lately.

Symptoms: Still getting sick, but it has been better. Also, I have major indigestion and it hurts so bad.

Best Moment this week: Going to Atlanta with my sister!

What I am looking forward to: My doctor's appointment next Tuesday.

12 Weeks

12 Week Belly Picture

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 12 Weeks

Size of baby:2 1/2 inches long and weighs 1/3 to 1/2 of an ounce. The size of a lemon!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 3 1/2 lbs as of last Monday when I went to the doctor

Maternity Clothes: Not yet but it will probably be any day. I've been wearing my bella band. I feel like my belly as popped out so much this week!!

Gender: We find out June 1st!!!!!

Movement: Not yet, but I can't wait!

Food Cravings: Sour stuff...sour patch kids, any kind of sour apple candy, strawberry limeade from Sonic, sour starburst

What I miss: Nothing really except for my sleep and feeling good

Sleep: I haven't been sleeping well at all. I toss and turn all night in between my bathroom breaks.

Symptoms: Still getting sick, but it has been better. Today hasn't been a good day.

Best Moment this week: Hitting my 12 week mark and seeing my belly poke out!

What I am looking forward to: Going into the 2nd trimester and starting to feel better!!!

Back with BIG news!!!!!!!

So I'm finally over my blog break, although I have decided I'm not going to blog every day. I plan on only blogging a few times a week. I let the computer take way too much time from my days and I want to put a stop to it. I've tried to stay away from facebook and twitter and only visit a couple times day, if I get a chance.

Anyways....on to my BIG news!!! At the end of February I started not feeling well and after being sick all weekend, I decided to go the doctor on March 1st. I thought I was only going in for a sinus infection, but come to find out I am PREGNANT!!!!!!

I was in total shock and couldn't believe it when the doctor told me I was going to be a mommy! We were not trying, but I guess we were not Not trying either. We had planned on starting this summer, but God had a different plan. I had taken a pregnancy test the week before just to make sure I wasn't pregnant because I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. Well once I saw the first line pop up, I threw the test away and didn't think another thing about it. So once the doctor confirmed it with their test (the one in the plastic bag above), I went to Target to buy another test and sure enough it was positive, but it took the full 3 minutes for the 2nd line to pop up. I got to thinking that I didn't wait that long on the first one, so I went through the trash and sure enough the one I threw away was positive too....HA! (please ignore the horrible picture of me above, I had been sick)

I had to share my two positive tests, you can hardly see the 2nd line but it is there.

I will be 12 weeks on Wednesday, which makes my due date October 27th!!!!!!!!!

I've been feeling horrible and getting sick which is the reason I've not been blogging. Getting on the computer is the last thing I feel like doing lately. I plan on doing my weekly updates on here. I want to help myself keep track of my pregnancy.

Here I am at 9 weeks, but I feel like I look HUGE in this picture. I really think it might be the shirt or that is what I'm telling myself.

Here I am at 10 weeks. The weather has been so nice here lately, I've been trying to spend my time outside and we've been walking in the evenings. I never got the chance to do my 11 week picture, but I will be back this Wednesday with my 12 week and an update!

I'm so excited about this sweet baby and feel so blessed, even on the days I don't think I'm going to make it. I try to remind myself how many people who would die to be in my position and thank God!!!
