Let's have a picnic!

Friday morning decided to pack a little picnic lunch and walk Macey to the park in our neighborhood (3 miles roundtrip)! Of course, I decided to do this on of the hottest days of the year so far and got so burnt! It never crossed my mind to put sunscreen on us!

However, we still had fun!

I pushed her in the swings most of the time! The slides were too hot for her to go down. 

She played on this little bumble bee thing at the park! 

And then we ate lunch! She loved it and was so good and ate all her lunch. Maybe I should take to the park for all her meals! And maybe I could get skinny in the process..HA!

Macey Photo Shoot!

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting around the house, so I decided to put Macey in this cute romper and get some pictures! I'm not a professional photographer and no where close to one, so some of the pictures are way to bright, uncentered, and so on...but I just love them!

Macey girl,

I love you more than anything in this world! You are such a blessing to this family and make each day brigter. I will always cherish these days we get to spend together! I know in a blink of an eye you will be off to college and I will long for these days and random photo shoots with you! Remember I will always be your biggest fan always cheering for you, while you are out in this big world, doing big things!

Strawberry Fun!

I took Macey to pick strawberries yesterday with my mom and dad! We took her to local farm and they had strawberries to pick, tractor to ride, and animals to feed! She loved it!

I am pretty sure she ate over half the ones she picked! She put one in the bucket and eat one!

Christian's 30th

Christian turned 30 last Saturday and we had a little Fiesta to celebrate! We had around 25 people come over to help us celebrate! We were a little worried about the weather because I planned for a lot of it to be outside since our house isn't very big, but we got lucky and it didn't rain until 9:00 that night!

The chips and dip section! My sister also brought two dips but they hadn't arrived when I took this picture. 

You can't really tell in this picture but this was a little taco bar! I did ground beef with all the toppings for tacos, chicken taquitos, and corn salad! I must say the food was all really good and it was pretty easy! 

I had a little kid section set up with juice, gold fish, and apple sauce! 

We had sweet tea, water, wine and some Mexican beer to celebrate! 

The birthday boy and his girl! She insisted on helping him blow out the candles! 

I didn't really take any pictures during the party which now I'm regret, so here is one of me with the birthday boy last night! We went to dinner with some friends who couldn't come to the party.

Mother's Day 2013

Hope you all had a happy Mother's Day!

We had a very low key day, but I enjoyed every minute of it!

I am so blessed by this sweet girl that made me a Momma! We have our moments and we have days where I'm pretty sure we aren't going to make it, but I wouldn't trade her for the world. 

She is my little side kick and I miss her when she isn't around! Having Macey as my daughter truly is the biggest blessing of all!

Easter 2013...Better Late Than Never!

I just realized that I haven't blogged about our Easter or really about anything lately. I'm so up in the air about blogging. Sometimes I enjoy it and other times I want to give it up. I like having all our memories in one spot, but I don't like to take the time to write the posts. I enjoy the couple blog friends I have met and keep up with through blogging, twitter, and FB, but feel like I could still keep in touch without blogging! So I'm not sure where I'm going with the blog...but in the meantime I'm going to post about Macey's Easter because I have all oher other Easter's documented on here!

Our Easter morning started with going through her Easter basket! She was so excited about everything...she got a new princess shirt, hat, Sophia the First DVD, necklace & bracelet, bubbles, bath sponge,candy, and toy watch.

After the basket we got ready for church! It was cold and rainy here Easter, so I had to add leggings and a jacket to her oufit. I found this dress at Target for $7.00 and Macey loved it and called it her princess dress, so I let her wear for Easter. 

After church we went to my Aunt's house for lunch and an egg hunt! Unfortanetly, this is the only family picture we got the whole day and Macey wasn't even looking! Oh well, life with a 2 year old. 

The weather cleared up just long enough for a quick Easter egg hunt! Macey loved it this year and had a blast!

My cousin and her family from Kentucky came in town for the weekend! Macey has a ball playing with her girls everytime! I just love this picture of them all!! 

Hope you all are enjoying your Spring! The weather here in NC has been so rainy and cold, we haven't been able to enjoy it at all!

Macey Lately...

Macey is such a mess lately! She is so much fun and is full of life! She still has her moments where the terrible two's come out, but even then she is still funny!

If you are friend's with me on Facebook you might have already saw this video, but it is just too cute not share. Also, spekaing of Facebook...if you are a regular reader and I know who you are find me on Facebook. I post a alot more on there than I do on the blog! I have no clue where she learned to dance like this, but I was laughing so hard!

I swear she is 2 going on 16...this how I found her watching TV the other morning!

This night she refused to put her PJ's on and was having a blast running around in her big girl panties! I left the room for a second and I came back to her stealing my milkshake! How could you tell that sweet face no!?! 

I have a feeling her Daddy and I are going to be in trouble when she gets older!
