It is no secret that Macey has her Daddy and Papa wrapped around her finger! She loves these two so much and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual for them with her! She is one lucky little girl to have these two special men in her life!
I wanted to share this video of Macey from last week. I took her out to play in the snow last Friday and of course, we had to do a little sledding. She loved it! In my defense, I didn't realize she was going to go that fast by herself. We had been going down the hill together and it was super slower. Well as soon as I gave her a litte push, off she went!
We got some snow last night and we are so excited about it! We were out bright and early this morning to play. Macey loves it! Christian has been out of town all week for work and I'm so sad he missed Macey in the snow. He will be home this evening, so we are hoping there will be some left!
We have had a very low key week. Macey was sick up until yesterday, but I'm happy to report she seems to be feeling much better! I'm happy to have my sweet, happy girl back! Tonight we got out of the house for dinner and ran by Target. Macey experienced her first Starbuck's hot chocolate. I didn't know this, but they have kids drinks that aren't too hot. I hope you all have a great weekend!
My sweet girl has been sick since Sunday. She woke up from her nap Sunday afternoon with a 102.7 fever. We stayed home all day yesterday and I finally called the doctor when her temperature was 104.5. Macey has always ran high fevers and they worry me. It ends up she has a double ear infection. They tested her for the flu and it was negative. She is just pitiful and has still ran a fever all day today. We will be calling the doctor again if the fever isn't gone soon.
We have had a pretty low key weekend! We have spent most of the weekend around the house. Although we did have my aunt's surprise 50th birthday party last night. I of course forgot my camera! Hope you all had a great weekend! Enjoy a few pictures from the past few days! Oh and today marks one week of Macey being potty trained! So far she has done great and hasn't had an accident since Monday morning!
Today we are all back to normal and reality. I am kind of sad that the whole Holiday season is over, but also glad to get on a schedule again. We have had a nice long break and enjoyed ourselves!
Macey has loved playing with her new kitchen set Santa brought her. She is always "cooking" something for us. I love to see her pretend!
We have dressed poor Buddy up! It is tough having a sister, but he is good sport about it!
Found a way to finally get a smile...give her ICE CREAM!
Used my new KitchenAid mixer to make homemade chocolate chip cookies! I might be a tad bit love with this mixer :)
And the big news in house is Macey is well on her way of being potty trained! We started on Sunday and just went with it. She has done great and hasn't had any accidents since Monday morning. We took her to the mall yesterday without any accidents and she told me when she had to go potty. I am so proud of my sweet girl! I tried a couple months ago and she was not ready, but this time has been easy so far. I have to thank one of my favorite bloggers Abby from Sugar and Spice for giving me the motivation and answering all my questions this weekend! We have girls just a few weeks apart and she started training her little one this past weekend too!
I am married to a wonderful guy, someone I know God created just for me. We have a beautiful baby girl!!! We also have a sweet black lab named Buddy, who we love more than the average person. I love TV, shopping, traveling, my family & friends, learning to cook, dressing up, going out to eat, talking, laughing, the Beach, Disney World, and my life. I feel blessed to have the life I live!
