We took Macey to a little Trunk-or-Treat at a church near my parents! It is actually the church that I grew up going to youth group every Sunday. It was fun to see the little festival because in High School I use to help with it every year!
Our little piggy!!! I LOVE her costume this year!
She was going to be a ladybug but she was terrified of it and would scream every time I got it out, so I have to return it. I'm so glad I did and found this! I told Christian I love this costume so much that if our next child is a boy he is still wearing it...Ha!
Daddy with is little pig!
Momma and her girl still refusing to smile for the camera!!
She is so shy these days pretty much does this when anyone talks to her.
Yep, sorry Mom still not smiling for you! Maybe I'll get on of her smiling on Wednesday!
At the trunk-or-treat! We weren't sure how she would do, but she had fun and got the hang of it pretty quick and kept holding her bag out saying "more" when we would walk away from a car...lol!
We took her in the fellowship hall to let her play a couple of games!
This was mostly for the older kids, but she still had fun!
Last week I posted about wanting to try new shampoo to give my hair more volume. After a lot of stressing I decided to go with Big Sexy. I bought the shampoo, conditioner, root pump, and spray and play hard hairspray. I'm hoping I like it and I get what I want with my hair! I will report back soon after I use it a few times!
Macey had her two year appointment today and we are blessed with a healthy and happy little girl! Macey is right on track. She weighs 26.4lbs is in the 43rd percent, she is 34.75" tall in the 25th percent for height. We were all happy she didn't have to get any shots today! They gave the flu vaccine, but it was the nasal spray type. She did great at the doctor and I can't believe she doesn't have to back until next year. Time is flying by and it makes me sad.
Please notice the pink rubber boots! She got them from my aunt for her birthday and she insists on wearing them all the time! I'm learning to pick my battles :)
So serious while painting!!
I must say she did really good at not making a mess! We didn't get one drop of paint on any clothes!!
We plan on carving our big pumpkin this weekend! Pumpkin carving is one of my favorite memories of Halloween! My dad and I use to always carve the pumpkin and I can't wait to start a tradition with Macey.
PS: We are also starting potty training this weekend! Please say a small prayer for us in the Adams household :) I know she might seem too young to potty train, but she is showing all the signs that she is ready!
We celebrated Macey's 2nd Birthday this past Saturday. Her actualy birthday was yesterday, but Saturday's work better for us to celebrate! I can't believe my baby girl is 2! She is such a mess and has such a big personality!
We went with a Minnie Mouse theme this year and she loved it!!! I'm not really into charachters, so I didn't really go overboard with Minnie.
I made this little sign for the door!
Food table..I kept it low key and had ham and cheese sandwiches, pasta salad, veggie tray, black bean salsa, and gold fish!
I made this little center piece!
The cute cake!

Macey is such a lucky little girl to have so many people to love her! We had such a fun day celebrating!
I consider myself blessed that my biggest worry this week has been which shampoo to buy and what kind of food to have at Macey's birthday party this week. I know there are a lot of people out that have way bigger issues than this, but nontheless I've stressed myelf out this week about shampoo and food!
I have been trying to grow my hair out for a while and slowly, but surely it is getting there! I still want it to grow a few more inches, but it is way longer than it was this time last year. Now on to the shampoo dilemma...I have thick hair but when it is long it is so heavy it pulls and makes my hair very flat at the top (if that makes any sense) I'm not a hair expert at all, so I'm sure my terminology is way off.
I have heard great things about Bumble and Bumble, but I haven't ever tried it. What do you guys think...like, love or hate it?
I have also heard some good things about Big Sexy Hair too. Your thoughts on this one?
Or do you recommend something completely different?
Obviously I need help in more ways than one. I'm just ready to buy a shampoo, so I can worry myself to death on what anti-aging cream to purchase, make up, and any other important thing in life!
I am married to a wonderful guy, someone I know God created just for me. We have a beautiful baby girl!!! We also have a sweet black lab named Buddy, who we love more than the average person. I love TV, shopping, traveling, my family & friends, learning to cook, dressing up, going out to eat, talking, laughing, the Beach, Disney World, and my life. I feel blessed to have the life I live!
