33 Week Update

33 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 33 Weeks

Size of baby: 17 inches long and weighs almost 4 lbs. Macey is the size of a pineapple!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 22lbs but I go to the doctor tomorrow and we wil see

Maternity Clothes: Yes-all maternity clothes.

Gender: Sweet Girl!

Movement: Yes, she is moving all the time! Sometimes it tickles and sometime it hurts, but I love it!

Sleep: Not very well. I cannot get comfortable.

Symptoms: Indigestion, soreness, and trying to get over this cold I've had.

What I miss: Nothing really.

Cravings: Icee's from Target. I've been so thirsty lately.

Best Moment this week: Worked on getting everything organized in Macey's room.

What I am looking forward to: My baby shower is this coming weekend and my doctor's appointment tomorrow.

I never did a 32 week post because I was sick all last week and didn't feel like it. I did manage to get my picture.

Labor Day Weekend

It was so nice to have a 3 day weekend!!! I was sick last week and was out of work on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I really needed the weekend to rest. Thursday we headed to our Birth and Baby class!!! It is all so real feeling now and knowing that she could be in here 7 weeks or less is just so exciting. We have our class every Thursday this month and I'm really looking forward to them. Friday night Christian and I went shopping for a new washer and dryer. Not a very fun thing to do 8 months pregnant, but we did pick one out and it was delivered yesterday!!! Maybe I will have more motivation to do the laundry now..HA! Satruday and Sunday we stayed around the house and relaxed. The weather was so nice we spent most of the day sitting outside. Monday I actually got somethings done around the house and to the nursery that I've been wanting to do. I was even able to check some stuff off my "nesting list"!!

Last night I tried a new recipe. I'm sure a lot of you saw this on Jenna's Journey but I actually got it from a guy I worked with. They were a little different so I combined both recipes.

Chicken Roll Ups

(picture was taken with my phone, so it isn't the best quality)

Ingredients:

1 can of canned chicken or 2 boiled chick breast

4 oz cream cheese

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

salt and pepper to taste

shredded cheese (i just did a handful)

2 tablespoons of milk

2 tablespoons of melted butter

1 can of large dinner croissants

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together in bowl

Unroll croissants on baking sheet

Take 1 tablespoon of mixture and place on croissant (I didn't measure)

Pinch all the sides together or roll up

Bake at 350 20-25 minute

They were super easy and good!!!

31 Weeks!

31 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 31 Weeks

Size of baby: 16 inches long and weighs almost 3.3 lbs. Macey is the size of four navel oranges!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 20lbs at my last appointment. I go tomorrow so I'll see.

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Gender: Sweet Girl!

Movement: Yes, she is moving all the time! I love sitting at my desk at work watching her move!!

Sleep: Not well at all lately.

Symptoms:  Heartburn and reflux, HOT, EXHAUSTED.

What I miss: Nothing really

Cravings: Water with lots of lemon and just food in general

Best Moment this week: It has been a blah week. Maybe that the weather has been cooler this week.

What I am looking forward to: My doctor's appointment tomorrow.

Baby Bags and More!!!

I know I still need to post my picture on my previous post. Our internet is messed up at home and I keep forgetting to bring my camera to work and download the picture. I promise I will do it this week and update last week on Wednesday.
I haven't really been in a blogging mood lately, I'm just so tired and really just don't feel like taking the enegry. I have so much to get done around the house before Macey comes and I'm starting to stress out. I have a huge "nesting" list and I'm praying Christian and I find the motivation to get it done soon.

My MIL came in town a couple of weekends ago for a quick visit. We did a little shopping while she was here and she bought my diaper bag that I wanted for Macey.  I've really liked the Vera Bradely diaper bags since I've been pregnant and I haven't really found any other ones that I like. I decided to go with the Very Berry Paisley pattern. I just love it!!! She also bought the "Weekender" tote to match. Now Macey can having matching bags to take to the hospital!!

Sorry the picture is off centered it is the only one I could find online and that is how it kept saving.

We had a nice weekend at home.  We didn't have any plans or anything we had to do and it was nice. Friday night we went to PF Chang's for dinner and oh my word it was so yummy. I love that place!!! Saturday we pretty much hung around the house. My mom and I went out to find Macey a coming home outfit. I've been looking for some kind of dress, but I couldn't find "the one", so I got a cute little pants outfit.

I realize this kind of looks like PJ's in the picture, but it isn't. It is so adorable in person and has little lace and ruffles on it. I can't wait to to wrap my sweet girl up and bring her home!!!

Sunday we didn't do anything. I didn't feel that great and I napped all day long. And sadly it is already Monday :(

One other cute little outfit I want to share is her Halloween outfit. My due date is Oct 27th and we are counting on her being here by Halloween. My doctor and I are going to have a heart to heart and I plan on letting him know she must be here before Oct. 31. I wanted to dress her up, but I figured she might be too little, so we found this sweet little outfit!!!

30 Weeks!!!

Size of baby: 15.7 inches long and weighs almost 3 lbs. Macey is the size of a head of cabbage!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 20lbs. as of last Friday.

Maternity Clothes: Yes-all maternity clothes except for a few shirts that I can find in my closet, but I end up pulling them down all day long.

Gender: Girl!

Movement: Yes, she is moving all the time! Sometimes are her little moves hurt.

Sleep: Most nights I'm up all night long tossing and turning.

Symptoms: Heartburn/ Indigestion, backache has kicked in this week too, HOT, tired all day long

What I miss: Nothing really!

Cravings: I'm just hungry a lot and I've wanted home cooked meals this week!

Best Moment this week: Hitting 30 weeks! I feel like we are in the last stretch!

What I am looking forward to: My shower in a few weeks!!!

29 Weeks and 1 Day

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 29Weeks

Size of baby: Macey is 15 inches long and 2.5lbs. She is the size of a butternut squash!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Last week I had lost a pound so I have gained 17 lbs. I go back Friday, so we will see.

Maternity Clothes: Yes all maternity clothes.

Gender: Girl!

Movement: Yes! She is moving a lot. I can see my belly move a lot now and I love it!!!

Sleep: Sleep was getting better for about a week, but I haven't been sleeping well at all lately.

Symptoms: So tired, HOT, and starting yesterday I feel like my belly is starting to stretch, stretch, stretch. I've been really sore today.

What I miss: Nothing really.

Cravings: Apple Juice

Best Moment this week: Having Monday off!!

What I am looking forward to: My doctor's appointment on Friday and our breastfeeding class tonight. I know it is a little early for the class, but the one we were originally signed up for got cancelled and tonight was the only other night we could make it.

I realize I didn't do a 28 week post last week. I did take a picture but I will not be sharing it because I was in my pj's and look awful.

However, some highlights I want to remember:

-I found out last week that I passed my sugar test the 2nd time...PTL!!!

-My blood pressure was still up but I've been checking it at Wal Mart and home and it has been down. Praying it is down on Friday.

-Reality really set in for me last week and I started stressing over everything.

-Week 28 has probably been the hardest week for me so far.

-I took Friday and Moday off and rested A LOT and I do feel better!

Nursery Preview

Once again the weekend is over already....

We didn't really do much at all this weekend! I still haven't been feeling that great, so I did a lot of laying around. Christian spent this afternoon working on Macey's nursery and got a lot accomplished!!!

Here is a picture of her crib with her bedding!!!

I do not have a mattress yet, so the bedding isn't all the way put together.

I love how the purple walls turned out witht he pink bedding. We decided against the stipes. We thought it made a little much.

One of my favorite parts is her Crystal Chandelier!!!!
